Deep Cabaret is the ‘brand’ of Lancaster experimentalist Steve Lewis, whose work always seeks to surprise, inspire and entertain. His most recent work has been with Deep Cabaret Vox, a loose collective of improvising voices under his leadership who performed the first ever improvatorio (imrovised oratoriio) at last year’s Lancaster Jazz Festival.

Toniught Steve will sing alongside special guest, Liverpool Based Steve Boyland and swinging kings of improvising strings Four Candles. Led by Graham Clark and featuring Olivia Moore, Justin Lingard and Semay Wu the Manchester-based quartet They’ve played with everyone from Gong and Keith Tippet to Homelife and The Earlies.

It's the way with Deep Cabaret that you get special guests turn up - last time it was new member Cleveland Watkiss. Whatever you're pretty much guarenteed to get more than you bargained for.
