Frakture Commissions: An invitation to tender.

Amount: £1000.00 total fund.

Frakture will consider applications from solo artists through to ensembles for amounts up to £1000.00. The total fund is £1000,00 and Frakture expects to give more than one award.

Frakture promotes exciting and risk taking new music and performance within Liverpool and Merseyside with a special focus on free improvisation.

Cross platform, or multi-discipline performances will be welcomed.

Delivery: Frakture prefers The commission to be delivered within the Frakture Festival: 25 th –28 th October. Considerations will be given to date-specific proposals outside of the Festival Dates e.g. Guy Fawkes Proposal scheduled for November 5 th.

Key points:

• Sub-missions should involve a new work or new relationships, awards will not be given to artists or groups replicating their usual performance delivery and content.
• Existing groups have to demonstrate a significant addition to their standard operation style or content.
• Post Codes: Solo spplicants need to be Merseyside based. Ensembles need to be primarily Merseyside based, but not neccessary for the whole ensembles to be Mersyside residents.
