Mark Hanslip and Javier Carmona have been playing together regularly for 3 years in public around London and in private. Their first CD is currently being mixed for release in early 2011 on Babel Records. Their music touches on elements of free jazz, modern classical music, abstract sounds, healing tones, world percussion and more, all improvised. Each have played recently with the likes of Evan Parker, Steve Beresford, Ingrid Laubrock, Neil Metcalfe, Veryan Weston and Mark Sanders.

Dr. Manuella Blackburn (PhD) is an Electroacoustic composer, university lecturer of Music Technology and an electronic performer on laptop. Usually performing in the computer duo Splice Girls, Blackburn on this occasion will perform a solo set exploring exciting swathes of sonic soundworlds: not to be missed!
During the evening, with the addition of special guests, there will be an impromtu session featuring a mixture of the musicians present to add extra spice to the night
