Voluntary on-line meeting administrator for on-line conference calls wanted..

Creative arts organisation Frakture, seeks a “meetings” administrator to assist in the management and delivery of their meetings.

This is a voluntary position.
Time 2-4 hours per week.
Minimum period 3 months.
The action happens on-line.
For the right person, this role can expand and develop.

The on-line meeting are weekly, using the web application Skype and its conference call facility. There is no traveling to a meeting place involved. Currently the meeting happen during the daytime.

Priorities.
The tasks and roles include, managing the agenda and its timetable, keeping minutes, noting decisions, assigning task to personnel and date deadlines, writing up minutes and distributing the minutes.

The right person may move on to supervising the calendar and schedule of jobs/tasks, helping to keep Frakture on time. At present four volunteers manage Frakture.

Time: meetings are weekly, last 1 hour.

Skills and requirements: Access to broadband; ability to use web application Skype (essential), Google Docs, Frakture Forum; “Doodle”; General computer literacy; the ability to write up minutes and distribute via email.

Location: Local person preferred but not essential. This is an on-line web based activity.

This voluntary position would suit an individual looking for experience in administration in the creative arts sector. The skills involved can be transposed to many positions in administration; managing time, prioritising tasks, working with a group, communication skills, web applications, experience of project/event management.

It would help to be familiar with Frakture’s activities but is not essential.
