Frakture, is essentially run on a voluntary basis by those involved:
it is close to be a musicians organisation, run by and for the
musicians involved.....although no one is really sure of that.
The what
is frakture section of the website gives you some flavour
of the nature of the beast
Frakture has no hidden benefactors or deep pockets and although we have
received around £100,000 since 1997 from local and national
funding agencies, this is a small amount when compared to our outputs and activities.
So Frakture depends upon the voluntary input of those involved,
IF you wish to join us and help share the workload, we welcome
you, there is a wide range options from telling a friend about
a gig to writing annual reports to the Arts Council of England.
This section will shortly expand and have more detail, here is
a summary of some short term needs...
